U.S. Court in Connecticut Won’t Dismiss Home Health Aides’ FLSA Action, Upholds DOL Rule

A federal court in Connecticut refused to dismiss an action brought by live-in home health aides who alleged their employer, defendant Fairfield Healthcare Services, Inc., d/b/a BrightStar Care of Fairfield & Southbury, violated the Fair Labor Standard Act’s (FLSA’s) minimum wage and overtime requirements.
