SNFs to Pay $16.7 Million to Resolve Medicare Fraud Allegations

Longwood Management Corporation and 27 affiliated skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) will pay $16.7 million to settle allegations they violated the False Claims Act (FCA) by billing Medicare for medically unnecessary rehabilitation therapy, the Department of Justice announced July 13.
