Nursing Facility to Pay $360,000 to Settle Upcoding Allegations

Skilled nursing facility Norridge Gardens has agreed to pay $360,000 to resolve civil allegations that it violated the False Claims Act by providing unnecessary and upcoded physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to increase Medicare payments, John R. Lausch, Jr., U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, announced August 16.
