HHS Announces $105 Million in Grant Funding for National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Transition

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) will award nearly $105 million in grant funding to 54 states and territories to help them transition the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline from the current ten-digit number to the 988 three-digit dialing code in July, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced April 19.
