CMS Moves to Reinstate Third-Party Medicaid Payments for Certain Home Health Workers

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued July 30 a proposed rule that would allow states to make payments to third parties on behalf of certain home care workers for benefits such as health insurance, skills training, and other benefits customary for employees.
