OCR Resolves 11 HIPAA Enforcement Actions Involving Right of Access

The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) announced 11 more enforcement actions July 15 under its Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Right of Access Initiative, OCR has now taken 38 enforcement actions since launching its right of access probe in 2019 to help ensure patients are receiving timely access to their medical records.
