CMS Proposes 3.2% Bump in Medicare Payments to Hospitals in FY 2023

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued April 18 a proposed rule that would increase Medicare payments to hospitals under the inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS) by roughly $1.6 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2023, according to a fact sheet.
