Assisted Living Facility Operator to Pay $1.5 Million for Allegedly Shorting Frontline Workers’ Overtime Pay

Azure Health Services, LLC, which operated six assisted living facilities in the District of Columbia, will pay more than $1.5 million to resolve allegations that it failed to pay overtime wages to frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, D.C. Attorney General (AG) Brian L. Schwalb announced January 17.
