National Health Spending Expected to Grow at Average 5.9% Clip Annually Through 2028

National health spending is projected to grow an average of 5.4% annually over the next decade (2019-2028), representing 19.7% of gross domestic product, according to a report from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Office of the Actuary published in Health Affairs.
