Texas Supreme Court Rejects Discovery of Nursing Home Operating Policies Before Plaintiff’s Expert Report in Med Mal Action

A nursing home did not have to produce its operating policies and procedures before a plaintiff asserting health care liability claims served the facility with an expert report as required by the Texas Medical Liability Act (Act), the Texas Supreme Court ruled February 25.
