U.S. Court in South Carolina Allows Whistleblower Action Against LabCorp Alleging Kickback Scheme

The U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina allowed June 16 two whistleblowers to proceed with their action under the False Claims Act (FCA) against Laboratory Corporation of American Holdings (LabCorp) for its alleged role in a scheme to bill Medicare for blood draws that were tainted by illegal kickbacks to physicians.
