Medicare ACOs Saved Program Record $1.19 Billion in 2019, CMS Says

The Medicare Shared Savings Program generated $1.19 billion in net savings for Medicare across 541 Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in 2019, the largest total in the three years the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has been tallying savings.
