ESRD PPS Final Rule Increases Medicare Payments for Dialysis Facilities in 2022

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued October 29 a final rule that boosts Medicare payments under the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) by 3.3% for hospital-based facilities and 2.5% for freestanding facilities in calendar year 2022.
