New Proposed Patient Assistance Model for Part D Oncology Drugs Raises AKS Flags, OIG Says

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued October 5 an unfavorable advisory opinion to a prospective nonprofit seeking to offer cost-sharing subsidizes to Medicare Part D beneficiaries for pricey oncology medications funded by the pharmaceutical companies that manufacturer those drugs.
