AHIP/BCBSA: No Surprises Act Prevented Two Million in Potential Surprise Medical Bills

In the first two months of 2022, the No Surprises Act potentially prevented two million in surprise medical bills that commercially insured patients would have otherwise received, according to a new study issued by America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA).
