Hawaii Court Orders Bristol-Myers, Sanofi to Pay State $834 Million for Plavix Marketing

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co and Sanofi SA must pay the state of Hawaii $834 million under a court order issued February 15 that found the companies marketed and promoted their drug Plavix without adequately warning consumers about the blood thinner’s benefits and risks.
