Missouri Appeals Court Revives Wrongful Death Action Against Hospital Involving Patient's Suicide

SSM Healthcare St. Louis, d/b/a/ SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital, and several physicians must face a wrongful death action alleging their negligent care of a 14-year-old girl caused or contributed to her death by suicide shortly after she was discharged from the hospital, the Missouri Court of Appeals held March 7.
