West Virginia Reaches $161.5 Million Opioid Settlement with Teva, Allergan

Teva Pharmaceuticals and Allergan PLC, a unit of AbbVie, Inc., will pay a total of $161.5 million to West Virginia to resolve claims against them for their alleged roles in fueling the state’s opioid epidemic, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced May 24.
