U.S. Court in California Tosses Hospitals’ Action Against State Medicaid Officials over EHR Payments

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said it lacked subject matter jurisdiction in a consolidated action challenging state Medicaid officials’ calculation of certain hospitals’ Electronic Health Record (EHR) incentive payments under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act.
