Ninth Circuit Rejects Rite Aid’s Bid to Arbitrate Action Alleging It Overcharged Insured Customers

The Ninth Circuit refused May 21 to compel arbitration of a class action alleging Rite Aid Corporation fraudulently charged insured customers higher prices for prescription drugs than cash-paying customers enrolled in its discount drug program.
