Pennsylvania Supreme Court Rejects Hospital’s Bid to Shield Documents Under PSQIA, Peer Review Privilege

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court refused April 28 to reverse a trial court decision requiring a hospital to produce various documents it claimed were privileged under the Patient Safety Quality Improvement Act (PSQIA) and the state’s Peer Review Protection Act (PRPA) in a medical malpractice action.
