DOJ Files Opioid-Related Lawsuit Against AmerisourceBergen for Alleged CSA Violations

Federal prosecutors filed a lawsuit against AmerisourceBergen Corp. and two subsidiaries alleging that over the course of nearly a decade they violated the Controlled Substance Act (CSA) and contributed to the nation’s opioid epidemic, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced December 29, 2022.
