Hospitals to See $3.5 Billion Payment Boost Under FY 2021 IPPS Final Rule

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued September 2 a final rule expected to boost Medicare payments to hospitals under the inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS) by roughly $3.5 billion, or 2.7% in fiscal year (FY) 2021, according to a fact sheet.
