Sixth Circuit Affirms Dismissal of Whistleblower Action Alleging Rite Aid Overcharged Government for Generics

The Sixth Circuit affirmed June 30 a lower court decision finding the False Claims Act’s (FCA’s) public disclosure provision barred a whistleblower action alleging Rite Aid Corp. defrauded government health care programs of hundreds of millions of dollars for generic drugs.
