U.S. Court in West Virginia Denies Injunction to Woman Seeking to Require Hospital to Provide ASL Interpreters

A federal court in West Virginia denied July 29 a woman who is “profoundly deaf” a preliminary injunction requiring a hospital to provide her with American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters when she or her husband seek health care treatment there.
