Medicare ACOs Saved Program $1.66 Billion in 2021, CMS Says

The Medicare Shared Savings Program generated $1.66 billion in net savings for Medicare across 475 Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in 2021, the fifth consecutive year of savings, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reported August 30.
