CMS Overhauls Direct Contracting Payment Model

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) unveiled February 25 a redesigned version of the direct contracting payment model that was launched under the Trump administration as a pathway for a variety of different organizations to participate in value-based care arrangements in Medicare.
