Georgia Appeals Court Says Hospital That Re-Presented Arbitration Agreement to Patient Nixed Prior Agreement

A hospital that re-presented an arbitration agreement after a patient had previously signed one in connection with an earlier admission voided the prior agreement, a Georgia appeals court held June 2. Because the patient did not sign the re-presented agreement, the trial court properly denied the hospital’s motion to compel arbitration.
