Three of the four options to fund an ophthalmology practice’s proposed continuing education programs for local optometrists could trigger sanctions under the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) said in an advisory opinion posted June 29.
