Georgia Primary Care Practice Settles HIPAA Right of Access Investigation

The Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) announced December 22, 2020 that Peter Wrobel, M.D., P.C., doing business as Elite Primary Care (Elite), will pay $36,000 to resolve a potential violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule’s right of access standard.
