U.S. Court in Pennsylvania Dismisses FCA Claims for Use of Wrong NPI

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed July 20 a suit alleging that claims were submitted with the wrong optometrist’s National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers, finding the claims were not actionable under the False Claims Act (FCA).
