HHS to Enforce LGBTQ Health Care Protections

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will interpret and enforce Affordable Care Act (ACA) nondiscrimination prohibitions in health care as including discrimination based on sexual orientation and on gender identity, the agency announced May 10.
