Medicare Expands Coverage of Annual Low Dose Computed Tomography Lung Cancer Screening

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued February 10 a national coverage decision (NCD) that expands Medicare coverage of annual screenings for lung cancer with low dose computed tomography (LDCT), which is aimed at early detection of non-small cell lung cancer.
