HHS Creates Office of Climate Change and Health Equity

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) said August 30 that it is establishing a first-of-its-kind Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (OCCHE) in order to protect vulnerable communities who disproportionately bear the brunt of pollution and climate-driven disasters at the expense of public health.
