Sutter Health to Pay Additional $60 Million to Fully Resolve Allegations of Medicare Advantage Overcharges

Sutter Health LLC and several affiliates agreed to pay an additional $60 million to fully resolve allegations that they violated the False Claims Act (FCA) by submitting inaccurate information about patients’ health status to Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced August 31.
