CMS Proposal Cuts Medicare Payments to SNFs in FY 2023; Seeks Input on Minimum Staffing

Skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) would see Medicare reimbursements decrease by roughly $320 million overall in fiscal year (FY) 2023 compared to FY 2022 under a proposed rule issued April 11 by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
