CMS Proposes Medicare Payment Increase of $50 Million to Psychiatric Facilities in FY 2023

Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities (IPFs) would see a $50 million increase in Medicare payments in fiscal year (FY) 2023 under a proposed update to the IPF prospective payment system that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued March 31.
