CMS Generally Met DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Requirements, But Should Ensure Suppliers Maintain Licenses, OIG Says

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) generally followed program requirements of the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program Round 1 Recompete in selecting suppliers and making the subsequent pricing determinations, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) found in a report posted September 2.
