CMS Proposes Increasing Payments to Hospitals by 3.1% in FY 2020

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued May 11 a proposed rule that would increase Medicare spending, including capital, to hospitals under the inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS) by roughly $2.07 billion in fiscal year (FY) 2021, according to a fact sheet.
