Aetna to Pay OCR $1 Million Settlement Following Data Breaches

Aetna agreed to pay $1 million to the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) to resolve potential violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) following three data breaches in 2017, OCR announced October 28.
