Lexington Podiatry Practice Paying $750,000 to Resolve Fraud Allegations

Lexington Foot and Ankle Center, PSC and Dr. Michael Allen agreed to pay the federal government $750,000 to resolve allegations they violated the False Claims Act by submitting claims for medically unnecessary services or for more expensive services than were actually provided, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky announced May 4.
