Lab Agrees to $1.2 Million Settlement of False Billing Allegations

Great Lakes Medical Laboratory, Inc. will pay $1,200,737.64 to resolve allegations that the Michigan laboratory engaged in a billing scheme that defrauded Medicare and union affiliated benefit plans, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia Mike Stuart and other officials announced October 23.
