CMS Finalizes Risk Adjustment Audit Rule for Medicare Advantage

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued January 30 a controversial final rule on the Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) program for Medicare Advantage that is expected to clawback an estimated $4.7 billion from private plans over the next decade.
