New York Files Antitrust Action Against CVS Alleging “Tying Scheme”

New York Attorney General Letitia James filed July 8 an action against CVS Health Corp. alleging its long-standing practice of requiring safety net hospitals and clinics to exclusively use CVS-owned Wellpartner to process federal subsidies on prescriptions that were filled at the company’s pharmacies violated antitrust laws.
