Colorado Supreme Court Says Hospitals Must Bill Medicare Before Asserting Statutory Lien

The Colorado Supreme Court held September 13 that a hospital must bill first Medicare before filing a lien against a patient who has been injured in an accident and whose primary health insurance is Medicare.
