U.S. Court in Pennsylvania Refuses to Block Philadelphia-Area Hospital Merger

A federal district court denied December 8 the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) a preliminary injunction to block the proposed merger of two hospitals in the Philadelphia area, Jefferson Health and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, pending administrative proceedings.
