Recent changes to the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) could result in “multiple negative unintended consequences” for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) including significant administrative costs and lower participation in the value-based care program, health care groups told the Biden administration in a May 4 letter.
