CMS Finalizes Medicare Payment Increase of $90 Million to Psychiatric Facilities in FY 2023

Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities (IPFs) will see a 2.5%, or $90 million, increase in Medicare payments in fiscal year (FY) 2023 under a final rule updating the IPF prospective payment system that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued July 27.
