Fifth Circuit Certifies Question to Texas High Court on Emergency Care Providers’ Lawsuit Against Insurers

The Fifth Circuit is asking the Texas Supreme Court to resolve whether emergency care providers may sue insurers under state law for failing to reimburse the providers their “usual and customary rate” for out-of-network services.
