Indiana Appeals Court Finds Hospital Immune from Contract Claims Under HCQIA

A physician’s contract claims based on non-renewal of his privileges failed because the defendants were immune from suit under the Health Care Quality Improvement Act (HCQIA), the Court of Appeals of Indiana said February 21.
